About me

Hi, I am Samantha Maxwell and I am an aspiring sports photographer and digital marketing specialist. In May 2025 I graduated with my BA in digital audiences from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University. I was apart of three clubs at ASU: Inferno Intel, Walter Cronkite Sports Network and Blaze Sports Radio where I covered a variety of sporting events. I have been able to take photos of Arizona State  NCAA Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey and Gymnastics teams. I have an internship with the ECHL Allen Americans team in 22-23 and for the 24-25 season I was the social media manager and team photographer for the ACHA D1 Men's team at ASU.



I started doing photography my freshman year in high school when I was "voluntold" to go take pictures of my high schools freshman football team. One thing lead to another and I ended my senior year being the team photographer for our varsity football, basketball and baseball teams. Photography had turned into something that I really enjoyed doing so, I decided to make it my career and go to school so that one day I can be apart of a professional sports digital media team.



If you can't tell already, hockey is my passion! Working for a team doing social media and photography is my dream and my end goal is to do digital media for an NHL team.
